Go grab yourself a pencil and paper and write this down 10 times:
- I promise to be more thoughtful and considerate when parking my vehicle.
- When parking between lines, I promise to make sure my vehicle is parallel (not crooked) to the lines.
- When parking between lines, I promise to make sure my vehicle is evenly spaced between the lines on both sides.
- I promise that after I park, I will look to see that my vehicle is not crooked or too close on one side and if I am, I will get back in my vehicle to correct the error.
- I promise that if I am parking next to another vehicle, I will leave enough room for the driver to get into it without having to use a can opener.
- I promise that if I am parking in a tight space next to another vehicle, I will be extra careful not to touch it with my door.
- I promise that when I parallel park at the end of a curb, I will make sure that the front or back of my vehicle is as far to the end of the curb as possible to allow room for another vehicle to park.
- I promise that when I parallel park at a curb, that I will leave at least one foot between my front or rear bumpers and any adjacent vehicles.
After you have written these all down ten times, sign your name at the bottom, take a photo, and upload it to our Facebook Page. You will then be forgiven in the hearts and minds of all who have been offended by the parking morons of the world.
